The LIFT System is a content management system that powers Canadian apartment rental websites. The system has rich data on hundreds of rental units across the country, including building details, suite information, availabilities, and photos. Because the system is used to power corporate websites, the information is reliable and up-to-date.
The LIFT System has been opened up to developers to allow anyone to build on top of the LIFT System, mashing up the data that we have collected into new and innovative applications that serve the Canadian apartment rental industry and/or Canadian apartment renters.
Please note that at this time, the LIFT System is only open to selected developers through our private beta program. We do however welcome anyone to apply.
The REST API enables developers to access the core data structures of the LIFT platform, such as clients, buildings, suite types, floor plans, and more. It is the most flexible tool for developers, allowing for the creation of a broad range of web, mobile, and desktop applications.

The Search API is a powerful tool that allows developers to query the LIFT System for data that meets defined criteria, such as all apartments in the city of Toronto, ON that have 3 bedroom units for less than $1,200 per month. It is ideally suited for mapping applications and listing services that require search functionality.
